The Citi Rewards Card offers a first-year annual fee waiver, and students are eligible to apply. It provides 5X points for mobile payments and 3X points for contactless payments. Points can be converted to miles, where mobile payments yield HK$3 per mile and contactless payments yield HK$5 per mile, and the points have no expiration date.

  • From 12 April 2025 10 a.m. till 06 May 2025 6 p.m.: Successfully apply for the designated Citibank Credit Card(s) and submitted redemption form via MoneyHero
  • On or before 06 June 2025: The card must be approved by Citibank
  • Within first 30 days after card approval: Have accumulated eligible transactions of HK$4,000
  • Designated Cards include Citi Cash Back Card, Citi Rewards Card, Citi Rewards UnionPay Card & Citi Premier Miles Card ; not applicable to student cards
